Hello! My name is Ms. V. Muka. I am from Rwanda Africa and a public speaker and model who motivates and inspires all types of groups especially children with over 19 years of experience, in New York City, Massachusetts, and Africa. 

  I would like to make you aware of my background and life’s experiences. I was born premature in many ways i shouldn’t be alive but by grace of god i am Alive.

  I was born in refugee camp in Africa in a family of 14 children. I had 8 sisters and 5 brothers. I am a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide that occurred in my country . People characterize me as a strong, driven person who is a role model for youth. Perseverance, self-confidence and teamwork were all characteristics developed from normal life in a large family. I have been re born by my life’s experiences and the wisdom comes from my ancestors. 

I have done many things to promote the causes of abused women and children worldwide as victim of abuse myself. I survived the domestic violence that is epidemic nationwide today and I survived the drugs in the fashion industry.

In 1994, I moved to the United States and became a fashion, runway model in New York City. My fashion agency, VFASHIONS Models, was founded in 2000. 

I became the first African woman to own and operate a high fashion modeling agency in U.S. history. while raising child by myself I have learned how to deal with adversity and to remain positive. I believe that “when you have a positive mindset, you cannot be defeated.” I also believe that “whatever comes your way, you must shake it off and move forward.”

 I would like to come and speak to your group (possibly 10- 30 minutes) to motivate them to be positive, to persevere, to stay strong and to overcome adversity in their life. I am willing to negotiate with you a fee to cover my speaking engagement, my plane flights, my hotel and transportation. I would also be willing to do some volunteer work for your group in the community as soon as possible.
